Artist Bio

Sarah Glass is an artist and art teacher based in the vibrant Athens, Georgia area. A proud alumna of the University of Georgia (BFA, Class of '12), Sarah's current body of work draws inspiration from her fascination with molecular physics and mysticism. She delves into the intricate tension and harmony that exist within the under layers of the cosmos.

Sarah is captivated by the body language of explorers, seeing it as a manifestation of presence and beauty. Her work, while encompassing a broad range of compositions, fundamentally explores the profound depth of a single moment in time. Through her art, Sarah invites viewers to pause and reflect on the unseen forces that shape our universe, blending scientific curiosity with a sense of wonder and spirituality.

A significant aspect of Sarah's creative process is the concept of drishti—a focused gaze or vision. This practice, rooted in yoga and meditation, helps her maintain a deep connection with her work, allowing her to channel both concentration and intuition. By incorporating "drishti" points, Sarah's art becomes a meditative journey, encouraging viewers to engage with each piece on a deeper, more contemplative level.
